‘’It is always a very positive experience when the member federations of FIM Oceania come together. We have seen great progress in the CONU over the past few years as we work closely together to development the sport within this region. The FIMO CONU continues to produce some of the best motorcycle riders in the world. Again we celebrate FIM World Champions in 2019 that come from Down Under. Whilst smaller in population than other parts of the world, this CONU region is spread over huge distances within Australia and New Zealand. Yet per capita motorcycle sports are very popular here and we have a long history of creating champions from this region. 2020 is shaping up as an exciting time for FIM Oceania as we continue to represent the FIM in this part of the world ’’ Commented Mr. Williams

FIM Oceania Board of Directors includes FIMO President Mr Glen Williams, FIMO Vice President Mr Peter Doyle (MA CEO), Mrs Virginia Henderson (MNZ GM) and Mr Simon Maas who fulfils the roles of Board of Director & Secretary General.

FIM Oceania welcomes Mr Noel May as a new member of the Board of Directors. Mr May is also the President of Motorcycling New Zealand and joins the highly experienced board.

FIM Oceania is a Continental Union (CONU) and region representatives of the Fédération Internationale de Motocyclisme (FIM) – the world governing body of motorcycle sports.
