Dear prospective International Post Classic racer….. Your country needs you!

RACING AT PHILLIP ISLAND – ISLAND CLASSIC   24 to 27 January 2019

Who’s up for the Island Classic?

The chance to ride the best track in the world with current and former stars of the world of motorcycle racing.

The cost:

-$850 per rider.  This includes practice day, entry, medical insurance, FIM licence and bike freight from Auckland.  Your bike will have to be crated and in Auckland by January 1.  Bikes return in mid February.

An extra-long, long weekend away from work is all you need.  Snag a cheap flight and you’re almost home and hosed - group together with other riders for accommodation and car rental it makes it even cheaper.

Phillip Island circuit management have promised us a 40 foot container, and all the main shipping costs covered for our bikes, plus garaging on Pit lane etc, our bikes rules are very similar, to the Aussies so our bikes drop straight in. Best of all we’re more than competitive in most classes. For the big boys, there’s also the International Challenge (IC) to have a crack at.

This event will feature the Oceania Challenge, an FIM sanctioned event between Australia and NZ.  This will be run in non IC classes and will match up riders from both countries who have the closest qualifying times.  They will then race head to head with the points totalled for their country.
