Motorcycling New Zealand (MNZ) is excited to announce Fox Racing New Zealand as Naming Rights Partner for the 2019 Fox Racing New Zealand Motocross Championship.

Fox Racing (distributed by Level Ltd) was one of 11 Associate Partners for the 2018 series, whose support enabled all four rounds to be live streamed, bringing New Zealand’s top-level MX racing to fans all over the world. Fox’s General Manager Marcus Allen was closely involved in the delivery of the live streaming, stepping in to help with camera scaffolds, guest commentators and directing the coverage at some rounds. With 378,000 views and a reach of 1.5m, the live streaming showcased the quality of competition and world class NZ talent to a whole new audience, lifting the international profile of the series at the same time.

MNZ General Manager Virginia Henderson says the support of those partners created a great foundation for growth in 2019 and welcomed the opportunity to work more closely with Fox Racing across the 2019 championship.

“Fox Racing is an internationally recognised brand aligned with the highest level of motocross competition and we’re delighted they see the value in partnering with the New Zealand national series. Marcus was an integral part of the success of the 2018 season and together we plan to take the 2019 Fox Racing New Zealand Motocross Championship to the next level, with bigger fields, more spectators and top quality live streaming once again.

“We’re very proud to be working with Fox and I’d like to thank the New Zealand business for choosing to support our championship. As with any sport, funding is critical and we’re reliant on mutually beneficial partnerships such as this to help us deliver a platform for success, both at home and on the international stage.”

For over four decades, Fox Racing has been the global leader in motocross and mountain biking gear and apparel. Fox outfits the world’s best competitive action sport athletes, along with top kiwi riders including Kayne Lamont, Max Purvis, Courtney Duncan, Cohen Chase, Ethan Martens, Hamish Harwood, Rachael Archer.

Marcus Allen, General Manager of Level Ltd (FOX Racing) says:

“We are very proud to put the FOX name to this event again for 2019. So much of what the brand stands for is centred in progression of the sport and innovation to take Motocross forward. We see the NZ Nationals becoming an event that’s drives such progression for industry and riders.”
