BOB COOKE STEPS DOWN AFTER 56 YEARS

Back to News

MNZ would like to take this opportunity to thank Life Member, Bob Cooke who after 56 years of service is hanging up his Officials Vests.

Bob has been involved in many events over the years with his first major event in 1961 at the New Years Beach Meeting at Tahunanui Nelson which at the time was held under the Auto Cycle Union (ACU) banner.

In 2001 Bob was appointed as Stewards Commissioner for a short time and has undertaken a significant amount of work on the Manual of Motorcycle Sport.

It is people like Bob who dedicate their time, knowledge and passion to our sport and for that we are truely greatful.
