Commissioner Vacancy - Motocross

Back to News

Following Howard Lilly’s recent decision to step down as Motocross Commissioner, we at MNZ would like to thank Howard for his contribution, commitment and dedication to motocross during his time as Commissioner.

Our sport is reliant on volunteers. The hundreds of motorcycling events that happen every year at club, regional and national level simply couldn’t happen without them.  Our organisation exists to advance the sport of motorcycling and this vacancy creates an opportunity to become part of a team absolutely committed to this mission.

In accordance with our constitution, we are now looking to appoint an Acting MNZ Motocross Commissioner to hold that office until the next Annual General Meeting.

The Acting MNZ Motocross Commissioner will be supported by three new coordinator roles – Junior & Mini Motocross Coordinator; Vets & Womens Motocross Coordinator; Senior MX Nationals Coordinator – which have been created to ensure the commissioner role is both manageable and enjoyable.

We are seeking expressions of interest to fill each of these roles, details of which can be found in the documents at the links below:
