Rider Ranking System - Questions & Answers

Answer:
I see what you mean, I will look into it tonight I have been over and over these but still finding mistakes as they all had to be done manually and please remember it is an example to demonstrate how the system will work and should not carry any weight at this early stage.
Regarding the weighting, the significant events MX Nationals and SX Nationals have more races hence more points. Woodville is the exception at this stage.
But for everyone including Juniors and other development riders their success in the island and the major club event will have a significant impact in their rankings. It is hoped that this impact will increase the profile and participation in these events and offer an opportunity for more than just the elite to be involved in the national picture. The hope is to generate more highly competitive events to push the average ability upwards and the champions will still be recognised by the titles they hold not by their ranking.

Question:
It seems the list is incomplete. I see some riders have been given SX points and others haven't.
Should'nt the events that mean something be weighted more than others. When you look at the Junior rankings, with the exception of Dion Picard, many of the top riders are nowhere near the top.
Scott Sowry and Micah McGoldrick being classic examples, not having SX points included. Micah, being National SX and MX and GP champion would surely be at the top, not #10.
