Moto Trials have been called the ballet of the motorcycle world.
Have you ever tried climbing over a pile of rocks without using your hand? Well, try it on a motorcycle without putting a foot down.
In essence, Moto Trials is about negotiating marked sections of terrain on a motorcycle, with observers awarding penalty points if you stop, put a foot on the ground, or if you fall off.
The rider who loses the least number of points WINS.
Easy and a whole lot of fun. You can try it on any motorcycle, but purpose-built trials machines are readily available, cheap to run and are very easy to ride. With boots and a helmet you are fully equipped.
Moto Trial events cater for young, old, experienced riders and beginners, and are held regularly throughout the country. Your local motorcycle club or shop will be able to help you with information.
